<Shippō>
The Shippō pattern, formed by a series of interconnected circles, is said to be a “pattern that connects bonds.” It expresses the wish that these bonds will form a circle and that one’s connections will continue to expand. Additionally, the Hana-Shippō pattern—which features flowers within the Shippō design—is a pattern that expresses the wish to connect with people and things that are good for oneself and to bring forth beautiful blossoms.
