Japan Paper hal's thoughts

Washi accessories made from traditional Japanese washi paper, with a modern design.

"I want to use traditional Japanese paper to create modern accessories that will inspire people living in the modern age."

With this in mind, the designer used traditional Japanese paper in its colors and patterns.
Sparkling accessories that blend into modern life have been created.

The accessories that make the viewer feel kind,
The design is inspired by the beautiful four seasons of Japan.

The traditional Japanese patterns printed on washi paper are called "patterns" and have represented people's wishes since ancient times.
For example, there are "Shippou Tsunagi" which is a pattern that prays for expanding relationships, "Seigaiha" which is a pattern that prays for a peaceful life, and "Kagome" which is believed to ward off evil spirits.

In today's hectic modern life, even if we don't scrape our knees, it's common for our hearts to get scraped. Every day we have to recognize injustice and stand up to it. We have to hide our weaknesses and act hopelessly strong. Weakness is strength. Strength is a scab.

In these days, I hope that the Japanese patterns that we see every day will give us courage, acknowledge our weaknesses, make us think that we are beautiful just the way we are, and gently push us to become the person we want to be. I create these patterns with the hope that they will become "equipment to survive in the present" for you as you fight in this modern world.

As we are tossed about by the waves of modern life, which passes by as quickly as a storm, by the time the scabs fall off, the scars will have become tenderness.

"With this on, I'm the strongest."
I hope that this accessory will become like a talisman.
We create each piece with a wish in mind.

Beautiful and mysterious washi paper accessories,
I hope today will be a little more positive.
