Icicle Earrings - Double Stripe Grid

These earrings have a cool design inspired by dignified icicles.

The body of the piece is made of washi paper and glass beads, and the thickness of the glass makes the colors appear deeper, and the pattern is curved and looks larger, making it look more interesting.

This purple design uses chiyogami paper with a two-line check pattern.

Kabuki actors wore kimonos with their own original checkered patterns, and common people copied them, wearing them as if they were "oshi-moyo", which led to various checkered patterns becoming very popular during the Edo period.
