Shigure Earrings #4 - Purple

These adorable earrings sway with the image of raindrops bursting forth from the heavens. The raindrops are made by encasing paper in resin, and are round like candy canes, with a shiny finish.

The four elegantly swaying droplets bounce and sway when you turn your head or look up, creating a lively expression.
This design, which has the cutest swaying effect, is the most popular design of Japan Paper HAL. The design of the bursting droplets was created with the image of the blessed rain that nourishes the four seasons of Japan.

This purple design uses chiyogami paper with the following patterns: Shion, Kozakura, and Kagome.

It is also known as forget-me-not, and the floral meaning of this design is "not forgetting loved ones."

[Small cherry blossom] Kozakura

It was believed that the god of harvest resided in cherry trees, and so cherry trees were seen as "fruit-bearing trees," and festivals were held around them in the spring. This is said to be the origin of cherry blossom viewing.

[Kagome]

This motif is believed to ward off evil spirits, as demons dislike things with many eyes.
