Shigure Earrings #4 - Mimoza

These adorable earrings sway with the image of a shower of blessings. The raindrops are made by encasing chiyogami paper in resin, and are finished in a round, glossy finish like candy.

The four elegantly swaying droplets bounce and sway when you turn around or raise your head, creating a lively expression.
This design, with its cute, swaying feel, is Japan Paper HAL's most popular design. The design of the bursting droplets was created in the image of the blessed rain that nourishes Japan's four seasons.

This Mimoza design uses chiyogami paper with "small cherry blossom" and "kanoko" patterns.

This pattern is called Kanoko because it resembles the spots on a fawn's back. Deer have long been considered messengers of the gods and have been treasured in Japan. This pattern is often used on kimonos for babies and children, as a talisman against evil and to bring divine protection.

The post metal is 14kgf (14k gold-filled), which, unlike thin gold-plated (GP) jewelry, is made up of 1/20 of its total weight in gold. Because the gold layer is thick, there's no need to worry about it peeling even after extended wear. It's also said to be less likely to cause metal allergies. If you have severe metal allergies and are concerned about them, choose surgical stainless steel earrings. 14kgf earring posts are gold, while surgical stainless steel earring posts are silver.
